Chalak Omar

Chalak is a University Teacher in the Diamond’s Analytics laboratory. His research background is in particle science and powder technology. Because of this, he is the department’s expert in the Consigma pharmaceutical manufacturing line in the Diamond Pilot Plant.

Raja Toqeer

Raja is a senior University teacher in the Diamond’s Electronics and Control lab. His technical expertise is in electrical and electronic engineering encompasses analogue and digital electronics, microcontrollers, control systems, electrical machines and power systems. The focus of his research has been on the design and implementation of a Neurocontroller for the speed estimation and control of an induction motor, and the design and implementation of advanced control methods for the next generation of electric ship power systems.

Andrew Garrard

Andrew is a Professor of Engineering Education and head of Multidisciplinary Engineering Education based in the Diamond. His areas of expertise are fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, energy engineering and computational fluid dynamics.
